How to Celebrate Your Baby’s 1st Birthday

Every moment in your child’s life is extremely special; however nothing tops their first birthday. It brings back reminiscences of the time when he/she was just born, the first time your child held your hand, the first time he/she crawled, the first step and the first sounds he/she made. All of them are moments of celebrations but yet the ‘first birthday’ is the grandest of all.

Parents often wonder if it is obligatory to celebrate their child’s first birthday through a majestic celebration. After all, the child is not going to recall it anyways. Yet no matter what, the first celebration of many more should be unforgettable because at some point in the coming years your child is going to want to know what you did for his/her first birthday.

Just the Family

1. One of the simplest ways to celebrate you child’s first birthday is to call just close family and friend’s home. A simple but elegant menu with light on the eyes decoration could do wonders at pleasing your guests and making it anunforgettable day.

2. Parents whose kids are not very friendly or who do not like socializing with strangers this is the ideal setting. The guest list remains limited to only those who the child recognizes. It is easy on your pockets and is not a hassle to clean up later.

3. Since they are already your close family and friends they would know what your child has and what he/she requires and hence the gifts would be more pertinent and beneficial. Having close people around takes away a lot of last minute or pre party jitters that you may have as they are all either family or friends.
